My best friend likes to think of the BoS in Fallout 4 as a 'budget Enclave.' Worse tech, worse leadership overall, weird knightly thing, but super military and bent on genocide stuffs.Īnd people argued that Institute is best cause best tech, truly can help most of all, blahblah. Well many people argue the BoS are right as in Synths are an unknown and danger blah blah but Arthur Maxson, who is sorta a disgrace to the rest of the BoS, was a huge fanatic that wanted death and genocide to anything not human. Though Preston Garvey can get pretty annoying at times with settlements, he's not evil by any stretch of the imagination. The Minutemen are pretty obviously the good faction of 4, considering that they just want to protect the Commonwealth from itself and nothing else. The Brotherhood being basically a faction of fascists and the Institute being a faction embracing progress no matter the cost or how immoral the method they achieve it is. The Brotherhood and the Institute were both pretty evil in their own respective rights. Really the only faction in 4 that was really a moral grey area was the Railroad.
